At old times, people have always looked for something to sweeten their tea, coffee or baked products. Before artificial sweeteners and advanced sugar there was honey. Traditionally, to substitute sugar for honey the texture and taste of your favorite recipes would be compromised, in addition to a less than accurate measurement.
As more and more people choose to live a healthy life style and cut away processed sugars from the food items they consume, they could have to look for a sugar substitute that is healthy and organic. Artificial sweeteners leave an after taste in the mouth and are basically synthesized chemicals. As with, all the chemicals taken into the body there are potential side effects.
